Kwajmal, a jazz band based in Conway, MA, has been delighting audiences all over western Massachusetts with everything from old standards to original compositions. I first saw Kwajmal perform three or four years ago at the Peace Pagoda. Even then I knew they were good. I saw your show last night, July 11, at the Black Sheep in Amherst and was really impressed. Your familiarity with the music and your instruments belies your youth. You are definitely ready to go on the road.
ReplyDeleteI was even more impressed with the love and care that was exhibited between the members of the group and the support of your families. We in the audience were treated to a reality that thrived on peace and love and the creative genius that emerged as the beautiful renditions of past jazz masters.
